Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050706 Firefox/1.0.5

When middle-clicking on an image hyperlink, nothing happens. However,
middle-clicking text hyperlinks or bookmarks continues to open them in a new tab
(as it should).

This appears to be a regression in the latest 1.0.5 test build; it does not
happen in 1.0.4.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open http://www.mozilla.org/ (or any other page with image hyperlinks).
2. Middle-click on an image hyperlink.
3.

Actual Results:
Nothing. (A new tab did not open.)

Expected Results:
The link should have opened in a new tab.

- No third-party themes or extensions were installed.
- Using a Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical with IntelliPoint 5.2 drivers.
- Reverting to Firefox 1.0.4 "fixed" the problem.
