300506 - crash, and then when reopened, all my toolbars, bookmarks, and everything was gone

I had the browser "hang up" and not respond, so I closed it.  Upon reopening, it
asked for a "profile", which it never does, and then I had to "create" one!  Now
all my preferences, bookmarks, and toolbars are gone?!  Where is my normal
browser, or how do I get it back?  I could not find an answer to this in the
bugs listed.

Expected Results:  
opened my normal browser with all my settings in tact
