Firefox hangs completely when trying to open

The program has to be stopped by the operating system.
Tried IE on same URL and that worked ok.

KL, NOT ALL performance bugs are duplicates of each other.  Please DO NOT dup performance bugs without solid evidence (like a profile) that they're caused by the same underlying problem.

That said, I cannot reproduce this either.  Geert Kamphuis, is this an issue with the Firefox 1.5 release candidate?

I've got a similar issue with the last firefox release
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1

Firefox hangs during all the time needed to load the page, but it doesn't need to be stopped by the OS
I've tried loading the same page with my old mozilla 1.7.12 and it doesn't hang at all while loading this page, once again, one of mozilla qualities has been broken by firefox developpers.

Yeah, we (Gecko) seem to have broken incremental rendering here somehow...  I see the freeze while loading in current Seamonkey builds too.

I'm really happy to learn it as the bug was first reported for firefox 1.0.6 ...
