User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050427 Camino/0.8.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050427 Camino/0.8.4

After upgrading to Mac OS 10.4 the scroll arrows in listing boxes do not appear.
You can click and use the arrow buttons to move up and down as a work around,
but this is a little annoying. The problem does not occur under other browsers
on the same page

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Go to the above page and look at the Component listing box, there are now
scrolls arrows. The same page under Safari and 10.4 has the scroll arrows
WFM with 09a2.

Your screenshots won't open for me.

They're PDFs, not JPEGs (please attach JPEGs in the future, not PDFs).

The problem seems to be that the reporter has scrollbars set to have *both*
arrows at *both* ends of the scrollbar, and there's not enough space in a select
of size 5 for double-ended double-arrows to display with the "wide" scrollbars.
(Safari is using the narrow scrollbars in selects.) I don't know what utility
the reporter used to change to the double-double setting, but TinkerTool
explicitly warns "Small scroll bars may not work correctly if there is not
enough space to display all four arrow buttons."

However, there've also been reports that there's not enough room, with a
*single* set of arrows, for them to draw properly in a select of size
4...perhaps we should use the "narrow" scrollbars for all selects, or for
consistency, all form widgets?
See bug 153075 comment 9 for a possible explanation of this. I tried finding a
dupe of this, but all of them seemed to point to bug 161050, which was resolved
as WORKSFORME.
Found it.

This bug (comment 0) is exactly bug 153075.

This looks like a duplicate then, but the only thing I would add is this problem
did not exist for me under Mac OS 10.3 with Camino, only after upgrading to
10.4, but since it appears this is a duplicate bug report, I wonder why I never
ran into this problem before whereas obviously maner others had?
