User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050718 Camino/0.9a2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050718 Camino/0.9a2 In Yahoo maps, when you use the Smartview feature, it displays "icons" on the map where selected items are located (like restaurants). When you mouse over an icon it should display the name of the item, but nothing is displayed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to a yahoo maps location at zoom level 1 or 2. 2. Open the Smartview outline for food and dining. 3. Click on All restaurants. 4. move the mouse over one of the yellow and red icons. Actual Results: The icon inverts. Expected Results: The icon inverts and a box is displayed with the name of the restaurant and the words "Click icon for more info". Clicking on the icon causes the box to enlarge and include the address and other info for the restaurant.
Do you have a userContent.css stylesheet installed (aka "Block web advertising" enabled in Camino's Web Features prefpane)? When I remove my userContent.css sheet, the ads appear. If you set yours aside, do the mouseover infoboxes work? If so, this is a "dupe" of bug 296783.

Yes I have a usercontent.css that I got somewhere on the net a year ago. When I renamed it and restart Camino, the mouseover and clicks now work as they should. I looked at the yahoo maps page source to see if I could figure out what rule in the usercontent.css was causing the problem, but the source is a little weird.

This isn't a duplicate because he used his own custom userContent.css file not our provided one. Reopening to resolve as INVALID.

This happens with Camino's "Block web advertisng" userContent.css, too. The CSS used for those hide/show DIVs is way beyond my skill level, so I can't easily determine what rule is hiding them. Someone with more time on their hands than me could add/remove rules from Camino's userContent.css file one at a time to see which one triggers the disappearance. :-) Duping back to our ad-blocking bug since I can repro with Camino's "stock" userContent.css, and adding the [adblocking] tag to the summary. Sorry for all the confusion. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 296783 ***

For the record, the userContent.css I was using was an earlier version of the
stock one. Here's the first diff:
1c1
< /* Block Ads v.2004-06-12 by Neil Jenkins
---
> /* Block Ads v.2004-03-05 by Neil Jenkins
I will probably switch to the current stock one to simplify any additional bug
testing/reporting.
