Update dialog blocks access to multi-tab closure warning dialog

Details
With DeerPark "Automatically Download and Install Updates" and "Warn on closing a window with multiple tabs open" both enabled, the Update dialog blocks access to the tab-warning dialog, making it impossible to close tabs (and quit DeerPark) when the Update dialog is open. I have to cancel the update dialog, close the tab-warning dialog, then manually restart DeerPark in order to apply the updates.

At one point I'd convinced dria that this bug was purely her imagination, but I was able to replicate on yesterday's Deer Park build.

This seems to be directly related to how the Apply Updates dialog is being called. When it's called: - after an automatic silent download & install - from an update process that has been hidden (using the "Close" button) - from Help > Apply Downloaded Updates... In these cases, it's not given full window controls (ie: missing the window bar) and you see the behaviour Deb describes: when the user clicks "Restart Deer Park Now" the Apply Updates dialog stays in focus and blocks the multiple tab warning dialog. If, however, you manually "Check for Updates" from the help menu, and leave that window open the whole time, then it does have window controls, and doesn't show this blocking behaviour.

(In reply to comment #5) > Yup. Working on my 20050727 build > As of 18 Sept 2006, this still appears to be an issue with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20060918 BonEcho/2.0. To reproduce: 1. Have multiple tabs open. 2. (Optional?) I had Downloads window open. 3. Software update automatically fires and displays dialog. 4. Click [Update and restart now] button. 5. Must Alt+Tab to find [Close Tabs Warning] dialog.
