Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716

This appears to be a new bug/regression since 1.7.8. When I start Mozilla and
go to mail, it uses IMAP to check for new mail. However, if I click on the
Inbox of an account, the new messages are not displayed until I click on some
other folder (Drafts or Sent), and then back to the Inbox. It seems that
displaying or fetching the new mail isn't happening when a mail folder is
opened, only when the mail folder changes....

The problem can be seen with other folders than an Inbox if filters are used to
move unread mail to that other folder; again, the mail isn't displayed until I
click some other folder than the one I want to see, and then click back to the
folder I want to view.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla mail
2. Click on a folder such as an Inbox with new messages
3. (Expect to see the new mail...)

Actual Results:
It displays the old mail, but none of the mew messages...

Expected Results:
It should download and display the new messages.

possibly similar to bugs 161187 or 282136?
