On my linux debug builds, for the past week or two, I see this frequently in the browser window, especially in bugzilla pages: I grab the scrollbar thumb, drag it down a bit to scroll the page down, release the button, move the mouse left over the content area -- and the scrollbar and page jump back upward, not to where I started the scroll but partway. I've tried making sure the mouse pointer is still over the thumb when I release, then waiting several seconds before moving back into the page; this seems to help reduce the frequency of the problem but doesn't entirely stop it. I also see this fairly often if I leave and reenter the window, or if I move the mouse over the scrollbar area then back into the window content (in both of these cases, there's no button press at all). This is driving me crazy -- it makes it difficult to do much with bugzilla because the page keeps scrolling away from the form elements I want to change, and I sometimes have to repeat the scroll two or three times before it will stay in the place I scrolled to.

Mass-moving all M16 non-feature bugs to M17, which we still consider to be part of beta2
Adding keyword in the hope that this doesn't get forgotten. Mozilla is really hard to use with this bug -- basically, you can't ever scroll by dragging the scrollbar thumb; you have to click in the trough or on the arrows instead) and if you forget and drag the thumb, it's very frustrating and hard to get back to where you were before.

Putting on dogfood+ radar.
I'm not seeing this in a linux build from today. Is this still affecting you akkana? (I'm using rh6.1 gnome +enlightenment).
Sorry, I'm not sure -- it was something I saw all the time when I was using the browser as dogfood, but in the feature frenzy it has regressed to where I can't use it for real work any more.
dogfood trumps nebeta2, so how this can be dogfood+ and nsbeta2- is a mystery to me. clearing nsbeta2-
