Is the History component of Firefox for global history, session history, or both?
I don't think either of those really belong in the Firefox product. As far as I
can see the only thing related to history proper in Firefox is the History sidebar.
marcia is now the default assignee for Bugzilla: Keywords & Components.

Now that we have a Places component, I think the History and Bookmarks components should just be removed. I think most of the bugs in them are either now invalid/fixed, or can be moved to Places. Renaming "Places" to something like "Bookmarks and History" might be a good way to avoid people filing bugs in the wrong component.
Until we stop supporting the 1.5.0.x branch, at least, we shouldn't be too hasty to evict these components...
We now have Firefox:Bookmarks & History instead of three separate Bookmarks, History, and Places components.
