User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; Media Center PC 3.1) Build Identifier: I downloaded Firefox 1.0.6, and now can't access internet. Revieve message: 'www.mozilla.org could not be found'. This message is displayed for any address - 'www.anysitename.com could not be found. I am using Explorer to access your site as I write this query. Therefore discounting a bad Comast connection or Norton security blocker. My firefox site is stand alone - I do not use netscape, outlook, etc. Earlier in the day I was using the previous version of Firefox successfully. Then I downloaded 1.0.6 and immediately recieved the error message. Thanks for your assistance. Reproducible: Always
Your firewall is blocking firefox from accessing the internet or you have something else misconfigured. Please see: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=106431 http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=258042 support requests should be posted at http://forums.mozillazine.org and not in bugzilla which is for firefox bugs. Marking invalid as this is a user support request. >Therefore discounting a bad Comast connection or Norton security blocker That is a flawed logic as Norton will treat the firefox binary different to the Internet Explorer one.
