In Gmail, I am unable to write a new message. The curser does not turn into a
caret when hovering over the message field. It won't appear when the field is
clicked or when it is accessed via the tab button on the keyboard. 

The "TO" and "Subject" fields appear to be functioning normally.


Reproducible: Always
Indeed, I have the same problem using Firefox build 20050811 on WinXP.  If you
click the link to compose the message in plain text, it works in that mode.  But
RTF mode is definitely broken.
