in starting a "saving file" of the latest linux build i had the browser window open. once the file began to download i had two windows, the browser and "saving file" at this point i tried to open a messenger window to check my mail. all four of the little buttons in the lower left hand corner were inactive. new windows were not created. the browser window was still functional. then, a short time later the browser window locked up. task manager shows mozilla is only using about 3% of the system resources so it's not a loop or anything. "saving file" just seems to lock out all other features during the download.
I think that this is a duplicate of 23690, save link as causes crash and whatnot. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 23690 ***
