"Deer Park was unable to verify the integrity of the incremental update it
downloaded ...."
This message is wrong and confusing in my case. This message appears, if the xml
file on the updateserver is available, but the .mar update-package isn't
available at this moment.
Solution: removing that confusing message, first copy .mar packages on servers
and after that xml files.
Reproducible: Always

this will be fixed by aus2's integration with bouncer. would be nice to fix the
error message, but it's too late and not a blocker for 1.5.

This should also be fixed in the client (I don't agree it's too late). One of
the underlying problems is that the update code doesn't recover gracefully when
the patch file isn't present but the update XML file is.
This would be a good fix to consider for the beta cycle.

OOC, what's the benefit of showing the user this message, anyway, since the
result is that an update (granted, a larger package than a simple binary update)
is downloaded and installed. Seems like a zero-value warning/message for the
average user, and something that might better be shunted to a log or just
included as a small status message in the dialog like:
"Incremental update is unavailable, downloading full version update ..."

Sorry if I'm confusing something there, but isn't this supposed to be fixed with
patch for Bug 300089 ?

I'm getting this bug. Also, some bug started yesterday 6/26/06 giving a "page not found" error. I have to reboot the system before I can get anywhere on the internet.
