Under the Installation heading of ReadMe.rtf on the .dmg: "You might also wish to select Camino as your default browser in the Internet system preferences pane (under the Web tab)." This is only true in 10.2.x. Since 0.9/1.0 have the feature in Camino itself in the General prefPane, we should direct users there instead.
We should fix this at least by 1.0 :-)
Target Milestone: --- → Camino1.0
My suggestion: You might also wish to select Camino as your default browser in the ”Preferences” (under the ”General” tab).
for better wording, how about "You might also wish to select Camino as your default browser by accepting the dialog on first launch or opening Camino's Preferences at a later time." Keep in mind that we now ask for this by default, which is why the change is needed. bumping as well, this should get checked in.
Actually, now that we prompt people on first launch, I don't think we need the bit at all. It was needed when the UI to set default browser was hidden (in the System Prefs), but now it's not only within Camino, but jumps out at you on first launch, so the instruction is superfluous.
Mike: We need to remove this, preferable before 1.0RC1.
