User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050729 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050729 When I bring up my "Mail and Newsgroups" window it properly lists the various accounts that I have. So far so good. But when I select my inbox, it prompts me for the master password before it prompts for my IMAP password. I have no saved password for mail so it shouldn't be asking for the master password. It should go straight to the IMAP account password prompt. In this case, it is one email account and a few news servers. Only my email account has an associated password (for IMAP). I do make extensive use of the password management feature but only for websites. I tried this under Windows as well but it didn't happen. This behaviour has been happening for as long as I can remember. I guess I should have reported it earlier. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Window->Mail and Newsgroups 2. Click on Inbox Actual Results: Prompted for master password: "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device" Expected Results: I should not have been prompted for the master password. It should have skipped right through to the account password prompt.
