Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4

When I shutdow and resatart Firefox, everything initially seems fine. After
doing this 3 or 4 or 5 time, and I verify the process list in windows XP, I find
multiple instances pf Firefox, even though I have exited the application. I have
to manually kill all the processes. This occurs more often after I visit a web
page that contains a java applet.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open firefox
2.Visit any page that has a java applet
3.Visit another site
5.Close firefox
6.Repeat 1-5 several times
7.Close firefox for good

Actual Results:
There will now be several firefox processes, even though there should be none.
This hogs memory as each process is between 20MB and 35MB.

Expected Results:
There should be no Firefox Processes.
Version: unspecified → 1.5 Branch
