Did some browsing with a single tab open, then opened the history panel and
opened around eight tabs from the history from today (none of them opened in the
current session). I did this fairly quickly probably before they had a chance
for each to complete loading before getting the next. I then went back though
the tabs abd found that http://www.doonesbury.com/strip/dailydose/ had as
today's cartoon http://images.ucomics.com/comics/ft/2005/ft050916.gif - an image
from another of the tabs I had opened - in that case the gif was the complete
contents of the tab (which was the expected behaviour) at least one of the other
tabs - also just a gif - had the ft050916.gif instead of the correct image.

Reloading the page fixed the problem.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME
