Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4

If a page is loading in a background tab, updates about its progress appear in
the status bar, e.g. "Connecting to www.mozilla.org..." When the page finishes
loading the background tab, the status message doesn't change to "Done." as it
would if the page were loading in the foreground. Instead the "Connecting
to..." message remains until something (e.g. loading a new page) triggers a new
status message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Begin loading a webpage in a tab.
2. Switch to a different tab.
3. Wait for the page to finish loading in the background tab.

Actual Results:
The "Connecting to..." message remains in the status bar.

Expected Results:
Displayed the expected "Done." message in the status bar.
