309225 - Dragging an IDN URL to the Finder creates text clipping, not webloc

In Firefox, when drag is done to desktop, URL of IDN is made for the clipboard
file. 
It is necessary to make the location file from the name of the title of the Web 
page. 
Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open URL
2. URL drag and drop to desktop.

Actual Results:
The clipboard file is generated. 

Expected Results:

Wevah has done some prelimianary analysis of the Camino case in bug 309226,
which may or may not be helpful for the Firefox case.

(Make sure the encoding of this bug is UTF-8 to see the URL.)

If I understand this correctly, I have the same complaint.  In Safari when you drag the URL to the Finder desktop a webloc (bookmark) file is created and its title is the title of the web page.  In Firefox 2.009 the resulting desktop file's title should also be the web page title but instead is the actual URL.
