STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. load testcase
2. click Reload repeatedly

ACTUAL RESULTS
The applet height seems to increase causing the page to have a vertical
scrollbar briefly.

PLATFORMS & BUILDS TESTED
Bug occurs in SeaMonkey 2005-09-19-01 trunk Linux.

SeaMonkey 2005-09-24-04 trunk Linux. Now I don't see the embedded alternative
content at all. I expect the blue boxes to be about 1em high containing
the text "Hello Kitty". Regression from bug 1156?

Yeah, now we're showing the default plugin for all of these.  It looks like we
didn't use to... wonder why.

At the moment, yes.  You could test by disabling java, if not for bug 310021...

have the fix for bug 311674 in them?

I see no change in the testcase's behaviour between:
- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/2006120606 Minefield/3.0a (pre-reflow branch)
- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/2006120804 Minefield/3.0a1 (post-reflow branch)

ie: no brief vertical scrollbar appears for me.

WFM, Firefox 2006120701 and 2006120801 on Linux.

Bug occurs in Firefox 2005-09-21-05 but not in 2005-09-25-05
