Oftentimes one runs into a situation where one wants to download files/media
that are referenced inline instead of by a link.  Even once one susses out the
URL from the page source, there's no easy way to get the item to download.  

Firefox allows you to drag-drop URLs into its download manager to download an
item, and it would be useful if Camino could do this, too.

This would serve a similar function to "download link target", assuming I

Something inline, without a link to use the CM on :-)  I usually run into this
with plugin content.

The age of the bug has nothing to do with the resources that a completely volunteer project has. We've prioritized other bugs as more important. If you'd like to code it, feel free. Otherwise, please follow bugzilla etiquette and refrain from commenting.

Kicking back to nobody; without a way to initiate dialogless downloads I'm not going to be able to get to this any time soon, and dialogless downloads are currently beyond my ken.

This bug has been buried in the graveyard and has not been updated in over 5 years. It is probably safe to assume that it will never be fixed, so resolving as WONTFIX.
