User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4
Build Identifier: Firefox 1.5 beta 1

every time I type "google <chinese character>" (note: I mean like "google 阿帕奇
") in address bar,
that will lead to the following page: http://www.google.com/search?q=%3F%3F%3F
later I found that in firefox 1.5beta1, each time I try to search in the above
way,
Firefox just replaces each non-english ascii character into a single "?",
But instead, if I type "google apache", all ok, no problem, It just leads to
http://www.google.com/search?q=apache

There is no such problem in firefox 1.0.x series.
My box is windows 2000 sp4, build ID is 5.00.2195.

and to the search bar, I mean the smaller specific search bar on the right above
side of firefox,
the search of google doesn't work, neither when try to search by English
character, nor Chinese character,
it just leads to: http://www.google.com/intl/zh-CN/
yet it works if I choose yahoo search engine,

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to address bar
2.type "google 阿帕奇" or "google すせそ"
3.enter

Actual Results:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%3F%3F%3F

Expected Results:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=%E9%98%BF%E5%B8%95%E5%A5%87&btnG=Search

just default theme, on windows 2000 sp 4
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051003
Firefox/1.4.1
