User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051004 Firefox/1.4.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051004 Firefox/1.4.1 I don't know from where Firefox gets automatic proxy configuration, but it looks like that you need some special config file for it. However I think that it should get it from system. In macosx preferences pane "network" you can specify proxies configuration for various protocols. This is made for laptop users, so I can use different network settings when I'm at school and at home - just one click in apple menu->location and that's it. Should be working in firefox too. Reproducible: Always
