Upon logging in, sometimes Fx will crash on the spot. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set screensaver to require log in. 2. Let screensaver turn on. 3. Move mouse. 4. Log in. Actual Results: Firefox crashes. Expected Results: Nothing adverse. Talkback ID: TB10898924Q I'm not sure how to consistently reproduce the problem. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. I can't find any rhyme or reason to it.

Another crash occurred upon logging into XP from screensaver. The Talkback ID is TB11143126Y. I'll post it once the talkback server catches up.

stack signatures of all that you attached so far are different (similar to to bug 319219), which may mean your *real* problem is a different bug - perhaps bug 291386 / 318419. What is typically running in firefox at the time of the crash? Any Chat? Before you lock your PC at night leave taskmanager running in processor graph window as top window. Next time you log in is the graph at a high cpu, eg an application like FF is looping?
The actual stack signatures are all different, though they all contain a reference to the same line of jsgc.c. Upon looking at the timer bugs you mentioned, I agree it's quite possible that the cause of the bug lies there, that the broken timers aren't playing well with the garbage collector and crashes the browser. Though it seems odd that this would happen strictly when locking the computer. I'll go back through my TBs still on the server and make sure I haven't missed anything. Typically, I have about 10-25 tabs open in Fx at any given point. It seems to be somewhat more prone to crashing with more tabs open. That also may suggest a correlation to the timer bugs. As far as what's open in those tabs, it's usually websites and the occasionaly pdf or two. I haven't noticed any correspondence to pdfs being open. I'll keep the task manager open the next couple nights I lock my computer and see if anything of interest crops up.
