at the end of this forbes story is a link for comments this opens a new window 
of a fixed width however it is about a 3rd of the width it should be to render 
the page contents making it unuseable.

IE6 produces a useable form. 



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.goto
http://www.forbes.com/intelligentinfrastructure/2005/10/14/sql-linux-database-cz_dl_1014sql.html

2. click comments link at the bottom of the article

Actual Results:  
a new window opens full screen height (800x600 laptop screen) and about 100 pixels 
wide the left side of the form is rendered.

Expected Results:  
a window approximately full height and half screen width should have opened with 
access to the form fields on the right side of the window (in both cases the
only sizing option is minimise.

Most likely the source of this problem is tools -> options -> content ->
advanced javascript -> move or resize windows unchecked

move or resize windows checked 
raise or lower windows checked
disable or replace context menu's checked
hide the status bar unchecked
change status bar unchecked

unfortunately that doesn't appear to be the reason.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME

works fine for me now in Namoroka 3.6.5pre and ubuntu 9.10 was that bug report really that old. Feel free to close and dispose.
