Overview Description: This is an offshoot of bug 25291. Things were getting muddled so I want to clarify the current state. Url search, AND panel search results are not being displayed in the sidepanel. Follow these steps to reproduce cuz I know these work. Steps to Reproduce: 0) Start with a new profile(don't think this is necessary, but try if you can't repro otherwise) 1) Uncheck your engine choices for Search within 'the Web' 2) Type a search term (either location) click search. Actual Results: The search is carried out and search results are dispayed in the content window. Nothing is in the search results panel. Expected Results: Persistent search results should appear. Build Date & Platform Bug Found: WinNT 2000031009. Additional Information: Select 1 engine and search again. Still no sidepanel results. Doing a multiple search and then going to a one engine search seems to get it to work.

I've retested this with the 2000031013 build on WinNT. I used a first-run newly installed build with a freshly created (only) profile. aka a brand spaking new, 'clean' install. I can't reproduce this bug. HOWEVER. I do note that the sidepanel only populates for searches done with the default (nothing checked) engine and when the .Netscape engine is checked off. otherwise nada.
OK, that's a separate bug we already know about. I'm gonna resolve this as WORKSFORME.
