User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Help! I've just updated from Moz 1.7.11 to 1.7.12 and now can't find my Mozilla Calendar. It is not listed under "Window" with Composer, Address Book etc where it was previously. Will it be hidden under Profiles or preferences, for example, or have I lost it permanently? Is this a bug or is there a way of backing up or saving the Calendar prior to updating? Thanks in advance. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Installed Mozilla V1.7.12 after successfully running v1.7.11 for many months. 2.V1.7.11 was automatically removed, during the update. 3.My Mozilla Calendar has disappeared from its usual location in the toolbar under "Window". Actual Results: Calendar lost with November and December's business commitments!! Expected Results: I expected that the Calendar would have been saved with my profile when the new version deleted or overwrote the old version. The Calendar should have been transferred to the new version, along with Bookmarks etc.
Did you have reinstalled the Calendar-Extension (calendar.xpi) after updating Mozilla? You can install or download and local install with rightclick "Save Link Target..." from http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/download.html Normally the Calendar-Extension was installed in the ..\mozilla\ Program Directory, not in the Profile-Folder, so you have to reinstall the *.xpi after each Mozilla update. Only the Calendar-Settings and the Data-File (*.ics) was stored in your Profile. This Files would be found automatically after reinstall the Extension.

Ough, while taking part on the Bughunt for outstanding unconfirmed Bugreports, I stumble in here. ;-) I still remember, that I helped Warwick via E-mail support to get his problem fixed. I close this Bug now as wfm, but I think it should be closed as "Invalid", because this was not an real Moz-App Bug, that Extensions installed in the program-folder and not in the profile-folder will get lost while deinstall Mozilla/SeaMonkey and install an update-version. Also handling of Add-Ons and Update-Procedure will be much improved in upcoming SeaMonkey 2.0, so an App-Update should work fine without getting installed Add-Ons lost. Hope, that Lightning will be available in Time with the Release of SeaMonkey 2.0
