Automatic update wizard attempts to install an update repeatedly, once a day.  The install and install-wizard logs do not show any entries at relevant dates.  Latest try is pending now.  Begins with a request to shut down, option later.  Install seems to proceed normally at shutdown or on subsequent startup of Firefox, and terminates with a success message, whereupon Firefox reboots, operates normally.

1. Wait for automatic instal attempt
2. Permit intaller to proceed

Actual Results:  
n/a

Expected Results:  
Some log entry, absence of further update attempts.

My Firefox installation is pretty vanilla.
