I removed all of the irrelevant code and try to make the code smaller. Software crashes after clicking the left key on the keyboard. Totally closed. If I run firefox from the terminal it says "Segmentation fault" and then closes immediatly. This bug is very annoying and cause me to loose data I have wrote for more than a hour. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter the link I gave here 2. Press on the input box using the mouse 3. Press on the left key on the keyboard Actual Results: Software crashes and closed. In the terminal it says "Segmentation fault" Expected Results: moved to the next character in the text, or do nothing if there is no text inside the input box I am using Linux Ubuntu 5.10, with Firefox 1.0.7. I'm using NoScript, Googlebar, Adblock and Popup Count plugins. Above bug was reported working on my friends system too, with the same Linux as me and the same firefox version, but other extensions.
This was fixed on the trunk between 2004-11-25 and 2004-12-05, most likely by the fix to bug 256835. Reporter - please test with the latest release (currently Firefox 1.5 RC1) before reporting bugs. Thank you.
