the problem i've noticed concerns apple's "might mouse". the scroll wheel on the top of the mouse often gets a little pressure from my fingers, and for some reason, when the wheel is lightly touched, it becomes a sort of back button sending me to previous pages.
there's nothing in my preferences to suggest that use as an option.
this DOES NOT occur with safari, flock or explorer.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open firefox
2.go to a web page
3.press mighty mouse scroll button (a light touch is all it takes)
Actual Results:
i won't do that not as i might lose all of the above info.
(i may have been born at night...)

Do you have a mouse gestures extension installed ?
Flock is based on Firefox 1.5.
Component: Build Config → General
QA Contact: build.config → general
greasemonkey, noscript and fasterfox.
no mouse gestures.
but i'm going to have a look into it right now.
is that something that could help? is it what you thought could be the source of the prob?
thanks,
chris

See the comments in bug 303537. It's fixed in Firefox 1.5 rc1 (bug 231718), but not yet in Firefox 1.0.7 (bug 303913).
