Steps to reproduce: 1. Click on the textbox on http://slashdot.org/search.pl 2. Click on a blank area on the page (optional) 3. Click drag on a link, right click on a link, or pull down a pulldown menu Results: textbox flickers. Another way to reproduce this is to start downloading a nightly build from http://www.mozilla.org/ and click on one of the read-only textboxes (perhaps with the intent to copy text from it). The textbox will flicker each time the progress bar updates. If you click on both textboxes, both will flicker.
