User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421
When printing page above to a postscript-file, the pictures being at page shift positions, are printed over two pages, eg. partly on the bottom on page N, partly on top of page N+1. The pictures are not large, so they should easily fit onto one page, if Mozilla were to shift them properly. Using papersizes letter and A4 both gives this appearance, but the pictures cut can/will be different ones, as no. of lines/pages are different.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to the page
2.Print to a postscript file (probably also fails with a real printout)
3.Several pictures are split onto two pages, even if they can easily fit onto one
Actual Results:
Pictures printed to the postscript-file are cut into half if being near page shifts
Expected Results:
Pictures should be neatly arranged to not being cut into halfes.
I didn't waste paper trying to print this out, but I expect the result to be the same if printing to paper instead of file.

Also see Bug 217642 and Bug 237939, probably a dupe...

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=237939 is different, since the page layout is altered. 'My' bug in effect print the pages correcly (I tried a real printout now), except that pictures would only look good if I were to join the pictures by glueing the succeeding papers together.
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=217642 is more similar, but if I understand it correctly, that bug throws the upper half of the picture plain away.
In effect, this present bug is perhaps a phony bug, since the printout basically is correct, but pictures doesn't look good (see attachment)
I fetched a new build, "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050920", and it still has the problem.
By the way, I really looked to find a place where to suggest new features, anyone knows how to do that?

IIRC it was printing like this on Netscape 4.x and Mozilla Suite too and still does. FFX even cuts the text lines.

Mozilla 1.7.x is only taking security fixes, so you'll want to test a build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/latest-trunk/ or a trunk firefox build.
Attepmting to print preview, I got a crash and only the first two pages with a trunk build.
