It's great that I don't lose the patch any more, but it used to be that I could work around the problem by just hitting back twice and entering the now-known unique email address.  Now I have to round trip a few more times to get it done.

If the "you entered an ambigious email" page were to just present the same page you get when you enter an ambiguous email for a request on an _existing_ page, we'd be in great shape.  (Until someone AJAXes the interface and we can save a pile of roundtrips and such, but now I'm just dreaming.)
