I have my middle button set to close as well. I have a microsoft 5 button mouse. In the conrol panel under mouse I have the middle button assigned to "close". I was able to close any application with the middle button. Including new windows in firefox. After I installed 1.5 I've lost this functionality. Is there any way for firefox to ignore the middle mouse button?

I have the same problem!
There are 2 options to close from Intellipoint "Close" and "Close program"
Choose "Close program".
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
