User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; zh-TW; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051025 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; zh-TW; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051025 Firefox/1.5
The problem occurs on Windows NT series Traditional Chinese ver.
When I import the Bookmark of Internet Explorer into Firefox, lots of files whose the filename in Japanese or Simplified Chinese can't import succeed.
And
When I Drag-n-drop the HTML files whose the filename in Japanese or Simplified Chinese into Firefox, Firefox show 'can't find the files'.....
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
import the Bookmark of Internet Explorer into Firefox
or
open any files whose the filename in Japanese or Simplified Chinese
Or
Save any files using the filename in Japanese or Simplified Chinese
Actual Results:
All Bookmark imported
Or
open succeed
Or
save succeed
Expected Results:
lots of Bookmarks whose the filename in Japanese or Simplified Chinese are missed.
And
Firefox show 'can't find the files'
And
the filename in Japanese or Simplified Chinese all become '_'
Maybe it means Firefox can't support Unicode Filenames on the Unicode platform System(Windows NT series:Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows 2003)
In addition, I heat to use Unicode-At-on.

Yes; bug 162361 is still open on the issue (also see its blocking list). Mozilla indeed doesn't like Unicode file names on Windows yet. Thanks for the report anyway.
(For those who don't know, Unicode At-On [sic] is a hack to Microsoft's CP950 to support some Japanese and Simplified Chinese in a Traditional Chinese copy of Windows; see http://www.cpatch.org/ )
