in today's tip mac build:
- homepage isn't displayed on startup
- nothing is in the sidebar
- mail folders / servers do not appear in the mail window's folder pane

Syd, is this the same thing you were seeing in the commercial build?  Kathy,
were you seeing this on a debug mozilla build?

For what it's worth, I don't see this on Linux/mozilla/debug.  My Mac build
failed in nsBrowserInstance.cpp with "undefined identifier NS_TIMEBOMB_CID".

Yes, this is what I see: no mail folders, no homepage
I'm also unable to load urls except those in the toolbar (not in the url edit 
area)

Does danm's fix help this bug?

Looks like we have two JavaScripts error. One in navigator.js line 24 and the 

other in charsetOverlay.js line 106.

the cause of the problems on Mac
