User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051116 Firefox/1.6a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051116 Firefox/1.6a1 Can't do a second search at http://www.freetranslation.com/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.freetranslation.com/ 2. Enter a word to translate e.g. the word repassant from French to English and click on the button "Free Translation". 3. Click on the toolbar Back Button and try to enter another search. Actual Results: Can't do another search, for the "Free Translation" button is not available any more. Expected Results: It works with browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers to 0; it should also work with bfcache enabled. Could not find a duplicate :?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051110 Firefox/1.5 Same here. Reloading the page clears the problem. I guess that JS is used to alter the "Free Translation" button when clicked, but this is not reversed when going back.
Sites need to use the new events introduced with bfcache to fix this kind of thing. The button is disabled onclick and then never re-enabled. See http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Using_Firefox_1.5_caching .
