Build: 2000-03-13-14 Tested on platform: Win98SE Cell widths are calculeted incorrectly when size is given on both tabel and cell. When rendering this: <HTML> <BODY> <TABLE BORDER=1 WIDTH=100%> <TR> <TD WIDTH=100> Width = 100 </TD> <TD> Width not set </TD> </TR> </TABLE> </BODY> </HTML> Expected resaults: The first cell should have the width 100 pixels and the second cell should expand so that the tabel fills the entire browser width. Actual resaults: When the browser is wide the first cell takes about 60% of entire table width. If you decrease the width of the browser window the cell keeps at the same percentage of the tabel width until it reaches 100 pixels. If you decrease the browser width more the cell behaves as expected. This is NOT an incremental reflow issue as it occurs even if you resize the window. This is a simplyfied testcase from http://www.winamp.com/getwinamp/overview/

The test case behaves identically in NS 4.x and Mozilla (though NS could be wrong as well). It behaves as one might expect in IE 4.0. So, it depends if we are doing what NS did in this case. Gerv
This works like Nav but it needs to work differently in strict mode.
