From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; N; Win98; en-US) Mozilla/m13 BuildID: 2000022820 When attempting to download anything from cnet download.com the unknown file dialog appears with application/octet-stream. This isn't as much as a problem as the fact that while I try to save the file the original window continues to attempt to download the file. Eventually since you can't get rid of the windows the entire browser crashes or just has hundreds of dialogs open. It should probably stop action in the calling window (i.e. modal) when the dialog comes up. CNET uses a refresh method to call the file, and I am pretty sure other services use the same method. I don't know whether this is more of a problem with cnet's method or with Mozilla's handling but thought I'd make it known. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.download.com 2. Download anything you'd like from their "Download Now" Link 3. Watch as Mozilla brings up the unknown file dialog over and over again. Actual Results: Hundreds of windows opened the first time. The second (on a different file) started the same thing but I tried to keep up with it. THis time it crashed though. Expected Results: Allowed me to have enough time to save the file and only brought up one dialog box.
