RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 306426

Details

The entire bookmarks menu starts flickering after a while of using (10-15 mins with 2-3 tabs) so when i click on bookmarks and scroll my mouse cursor down over the list instead of highlighting various bookmarks it just flickers (blue highlight/unhighlighted/blue highlight/unlighted...). This makes it very difficult to open bookmarks inside sub-folders because going on the name of the folder does not expand it or show its contents. It is a very major graphics bug and it is obvious and makes using firefox impossible without restarting it or opening a new window. Maybe this only affects newer linux systems? im not sure. I am running ubuntu breezy badger 5.10 which is their current release and has gtk 2.8.6 with cairo support. I have also experienced this on suse 10.0 which also has the new gtk and cairo.
i forgot to mention i have tried this with firefox 1.5 rc3 official release and a completely fresh profile. Does anyone else at all experience this bug? I have no experience about firefox development cycle but i'd think a release with such a major UI bug would be good if this indeed is experienced by other users and not just me!
