When the menu's height is less than half the screen, my current Firefox build
will display it either above or below the mouse pointer, whichever is wide
enough in the vertical direction, and no scrolling will be necessary. If the
menu's height is more than one-half of the screen height but less than the full
screen height, it may be fully displayed without scrolling, or not, depending
in part on the mouse pointer location. If the menu height is more than the
screen height, scrolling is always required -- but with a little luck you may
find the item you need in the part of the menu which is accessible without
scrolling.

No reply, INCO. Please reopen if you are seeing this in Firefox 3.5.2 or later in Firefox safe mode and a new profile with the latest plugins.
