where can i retrieve them? except getting my 2004 IE ones ....

for a web browser, i think that lossing the bookmarks is a MAJOR problem, could also be critical....

There are no, really no informations in your bug report how you lost your bookmarks.

Did you had a Firefox crash, a system crash or something else ?

i had a system crash (the blue bill gates screen)

Firefox 1.5 makes a backup of the bookmarks automatically, you might consider upgrading
