User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/412.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/412.5 Build Identifier: attempting download of Firefox 1.5 Good morning, While opening up Apple's Safari Browser (version 2.0.1) build 412.5 to navigate to the mozilla.com website, I clicked on the download Firefox 1.5 link for Mac OS X (9.5MB). Upon the click, it seems that the apple DMG file is being loaded in the browser and it sits there and displays all kinds of garble, meanwhile never finishing or completing anything. It does not give the usual Save option, but instead starts loading the installer and showing binary stuff in the browser. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. On Mac OS X system 10.4.2) 2. Open Safari browser and go to Mozilla.com 3. Click the Download Firefox (1.5 link icon) Actual Results: I received the same thing 4 times. Displaying the installer code or bits in the browser Expected Results: should have downloaded the DMG file to my desktop instead of displaying it in the browser none.
