Not strictly a download manager request, but whenever Mozilla opens the dialogue "What do you want me to do with this download ?  Open abi-word, ... Save to file ?"

It would be nice to be able to click an advanced button and override the MIME type  for the download and therefore get options like treating it as text/plain and rendering in the browser.
