Firefox and Thunderbird should display notice in Extension/Theme Manager if development of some extension or theme is discontinued.

For example:
"The author has discontinued development of this extension. No further
updates will be made"

Perhaps archive category could be made to AMO to serve this purpose.

Reproducible: Always
I'd be more inclined to add Install Date since an ext. author may host their own extensions, etc. Then if it is desired to find out what has been going on with an extension the name can be searched on the web or the home page can be visited if it has one.
As it stands this is wontfix.
