Can't enter password for basic authentication

Details
In the username/password dialog box for basic authentication, I can enter a
username, but the password field will not accept focus. The 'Save values' radio
cannot be changed and the OK/Cancel buttons give no visual feedback although
they do work. Using mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-M14-Crypto-talkback

Duplicate of bug 27784?
(BTW, with the summary 27784 currently has, novice bug reporters are *never*
going to find it.)
It is indeed a duplicate of 27784. Doh. I thought I couldn't be the first to
find the problem, but a search for auth didn't turn up any obvous summaries.
