User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 In my opinion, there should be a way to use a master password that only applies to viewing saved passwords so that saved passwords can be secured without having to enter a password each session. I apologize if this is a dupe, I looked for 15 minutes and din't find anything. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Passwords and set a master password 2. Restart Firefox.3. Actual Results: The master password is prompted for each session. Expected Results: If the user chooses, the master password should apply only to viewing saved passwords.
I agree, and was in fact about to submit this feature request.
