Java calls made from Javascript (via LiveConnect) hangs or crashes browser after repeated page loads.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click right or left arrow buttons to browse through different plots
2. Dragging mouse over plot will drive applets. Click once and then drag displays time-line also.
3. Keep browsing through different plots. This causes java applets to reapeatedly reload.
4. Eventually it will hang or crash depending on the OS and machine type. Mac OS X always seems to crash. So does Windows XP. On linux it usually hangs, but sometimes crashes.

Actual Results:
Eventually it will hang or crash depending on the OS and machine type. Mac OS X always seems to crash. So does Windows XP. On linux (my main platform) it usually hangs, but sometimes crashes. This bug has existed for a very long time now (at least since 2002?). It seems to happen with all java versions Ive tried.

Expected Results:
Java applets should just load and be driven (updated) by mouse events.

When the hangs happen on linux, one of the Java applets usually
doesnt load properly.

Also, there is a fair ammount of data transmitted to the Java apps during each call.
Could you provide a Talkback ID for the crash?
I dont have a Talkback ID.

Anyway, the way to reproduce is given. The key is to force LiveConnect calls by
dragging the mouse back and forth across the plots. The more you do that the faster it seems to crash.
