From Bugzilla Helper: BuildID: 2000031808 There is a list box near the bottom of the page http://sawmill.themes.org/ . When I scroll down to this listbox, there is a blank grey area surrounding it, obscuring part of the page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://sawmill.themes.org/ 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. If you scroll down using the pagedown key, the effect will be more pronounced. Actual Results: There is a blank grey area surrounding the list box. Expected Results: The parts of the page which were supposed to have been in the grey area should have been rendered instead. I'm using an up-to-date Debian Woody system, glibc-2.1.3. However, the problem has also occurred on a Debian Potato system with glibc-2.1.2. Kernel is 2.3.51, but has appeared on all previous kernels that I've tried it on. http://gtk.themes.org/ also shows this problem; other themes.org pages might too, but I haven't tested them.
I don't see this on my RH system. -> Form controls. Guessing pavlov, so cc him.

vsec@softhome.net - are you still seeing this problem on recent builds of Mozilla? Gerv
Just tried build #2000040909, and the problem is still there. Also, I've placed a screenshot showing the bug at: http://konatsu.dhs.org/misc/moz_prob.jpg
I suppose you're using Sawmill as your window manager? CC sarnold. Seth, can you try this on your debian machine and see if you can repro this?
Richard (zach@mach.berkeley.edu), I installed sawmill on my up-to-date debian woody system, and did not see the problem. It rather reminds me of bug 20185 ("absolute position elements repaint wrong w/GFX scrollbars on"). I tested both with gfx scrollbars on and off, with no change. sec@softhome.net, could you check your preferences, debug section, and ensure ViewManager2 is turned on? This is a possible dup of bug 20185. I hope this helps. :)
I tried enabling ViewManager2, and indeed, that made the problem go away. I checked out bug #20185, and I suspect very strongly that it is a duplicate of that bug.
Cool. :) sec@softhome.net, if you think this bug is a duplicate of bug 20185 (after reading the log, and maybe looking at some of the pretty pictures :) then you can mark this bug Resolved/Duplicate. Thanks :)
