Is this the same as what I'm seeing on csszengarden.com? <a href="http://pxclassic.net/images/zen.jpg">screenshot</a>

Could be the same underlying issue as bug 324967 .
Depends on: 324967
I didn't want to open a new bug till I could confirm that it wasn't related to this on, my issue isn't with hover but more with scroll. Since it not related to lag or black line I figured this might be the best bug to attach my test case.

Basically what happens on my News page is that the left and right hand side table cell background go away when you scroll up and down the page. If you scroll all the way up and down the image is completely gone. Here's the code that I use to generate the background:

<td style="width: 135; background: url(../graphics/paper.jpg); border-color: #DBDBDB; vertical-align: top; text-align: left;">

and here's the link:

I can't reproduce this anymore so the fix to bug 324967 must have taken care of it.
